You could submit articles promoting your site on various article directories and make the most of the hits that you get from there.

Sending periodic newsletters to your subscribers can ensure they haven’t forgotten you. Send mails to high traffic websites that might be willing to direct their readers to your website. When established sites recommend a start-up site, readers are more than willing to visit you. Also circulate newsletters and business cards with your website address on it to your industry colleagues. Also get involved in local community service where you can meet people. Also advertise prizes for early birds who visit your website. Promote your website through all means and see the traffic increasing day by day.
